Throughout history it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most, that has made it possible for evil to triumph.

Manliness consists not in bluff, bravado, or lordliness. It consists in daring to do the right and facing consequences, whether it is in matters social, political, or other. It consists in deeds, not in words.

Action is the proper fruit of knowledge.

But what if one, sober, reasonable, and honorable man should act, and act with perfect sobriety, reason, and honor? Then you have the beginning of a new age. We shall start a new order of things.

(Action) is the last resource of those who know not how to dream.

Thought and learning are of small value unless translated into action.

Concern should drive us into action and not into a depression.

In the arena of human life the honours and rewards fall to those who show their good qualities in action.

A thought which does not result in an action is nothing much, and an action which does not proceed from a thought is nothing at all.
